1The challengeLa Tavernetta di Cortina is a historic trattoria-pizzeria in the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo (Via del Castello 53), specializing in Dolomite cuisine, casunziei all'ampezzana, game, real Italian pizza and over 80 wine labels. The customer base is explicitly touristic — Italians, English speakers (UK/US) and German speakers (Germany, Austria, South Tyrol) searching for where to eat in Cortina before and during their stay. The challenge: build a site that was fast, indexable on Google in three languages, but above all that would be cited by LLMs and AI search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Gemini) when a tourist asks "where to eat in Cortina", "best restaurant in Cortina d'Ampezzo" or "best restaurant Cortina". No bloated CMS, no auto-translation plugins: it required full code control, native copy in three languages and flawless structured data.

2The solutionWe designed and developed latavernettadicortina.it entirely in-house. Trilingual architecture (IT / EN / DE) with dedicated URLs per language, reciprocal hreflang tags on every page and native copy tailored to each market — no machine translation. LLM-ready positioning: content semantically structured with FAQs, signature dish descriptions (casunziei all'ampezzana, goulash, game), practical info (hours, reservations, accessibility) written in a format LLMs can easily extract and cite in AI-generated answers. Performance: zero dependency on WordPress page builders, optimized images, green Core Web Vitals, mobile-first. Reservation and contact form with direct SMTP notification to the restaurant.
