2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) during browsing, where they are stored to be sent back to the same sites on the next visit. Cookies allow the website to work correctly, remember your preferences and, in some cases, collect information about your use of the site for statistical or marketing purposes.

In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as browser web storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) with analogous purposes. In this notice, the term "cookie" refers to all these technologies.

3. Types of cookies used

3.1 Necessary technical cookies

These cookies are essential for the correct functioning of the website and do not require consent under art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. We use them to:

Store your choice on marketing cookie consent (key: piuclick-consent, stored in localStorage)
Ensure browsing security and the correct loading of pages
Protect the contact form from abuse (rate limiting)

Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (art. 6.1.f GDPR). Duration: technical cookies are normally session-based; preference cookies last up to 12 months or until you delete them manually.

3.2 Third-party marketing cookies

These cookies are installed only after your explicit consent via the banner present on the site. They are used to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to show you relevant promotional content on other platforms.

Meta PixelMeta Platforms Ireland Limited

Purpose: Measurement of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, creation of custom audiences for retargeting, analysis of conversions (e.g. contact form submissions).
Data collected: IP address, user agent, pages visited, conversion events (e.g. form submissions). For conversion events, the email address entered in the form is sent to Meta in SHA-256 hashed form (non-reversible) to allow conversion matching without transmitting data in plain text.
Legal basis: Explicit consent of the data subject (art. 6.1.a GDPR and art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code).
Duration: Up to 13 months from the last interaction.
Transfer outside the EU: Data may be transferred to the United States. The transfer is regulated by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

4. Conversions API (CAPI)

In addition to the browser-side pixel, +Click uses Meta Conversions API to send conversion events (for example, contact form submissions) directly from its server to Meta. This is used to improve the accuracy of advertising-campaign measurement. Events are automatically deduplicated via an event_id shared between browser and server to avoid double counting.

Transmission via CAPI takes place only if you have granted consent to marketing cookies, with the same safeguards described in paragraph 3.2.

5. How to manage cookies

You can change or revoke your consent at any time by clicking the "Manage preferences" button at the top of this page, or the "Manage consent" link available in the footer of the site.
